Loving yourself

Cherishing in mind, it might be a tragedy that you and your partner could not (for whatever the reason) walk hand-in-hand throughout your life journey. But it is never the end to YOU... Upon separation and/or divorce, we are sole (be our real soul 活出自我的風采) again.

Yes, men are from Mars, women are from Venus and our children are from Heaven.
Yes, children is our assets and our commitment, too. But I'm tired and dried out and burnt out. Who is going to care me! Yes a dying Me.

Parenting is very challenging even when there is marital support, let alone single parenting. Custodial parents face the challenges and demands of childrearing without any or minimal support. Relief from the daily routine of parenting is near none. What happens to me when my partner withdraws his/her commitment. Well, only by loving yourself, you will revive and regenerate more and more energy.... and finally have enjoy your rewards -- your dream, your beloved kids, your right partner when you start over...No one knows about what the future will be, only God. Proverb 16:1 "The plans of the heart belong to man. But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord."

Upon separation and/or divorce, we are sole (be our real soul 活出自我的風采) again. Beyond we are also single parent who takes the parenting responsibility or commitment assigned for two intimate partners in marriage. OOh, my head grows big, my heart beats fast, my pulse jumps high, my limbs shake vigorously.... but my power drips away silently.

My simple conviction:- love yourself, do what you want and desire and dream, follow rhythm in your mind, in your heart.... Commit your works to the Lord and your plans will be established. No one will know how to love you, but yourself. Never expect anyone - don't rush and plunge yourself into another relationship to fill up the emptiness in your heart, in your mind, in your soul, only YOU. So just do whatever strikes you most. Bold enough to try, to experience and to taste ...

To me, reading and writing is one of my ways out of the tantrums. This is the asset God has endorsed to me.
I'd like to share more in the upcoming inaugural SPA e-newsletter. Do pray for me... that I can get the support, both in term of time, effort and finance (I have to earn a living for three - two lovely angels... I must work hard and wisely.) But my deep passion in voicing out the needs amongst these single parents urges me to work a step further and further....
